Getting Started

I have been to many physiotherapists over the years and many are too strict and never listen but at Acu-Pro I received the best treatment by far and not even comparable to the cookie cutter approach practiced by most other physiotherapists. I received great treatment and personal care that got me back into my life quickly and successfully with less pain in my treatment and after returning to my activities. The best thing about Acu-Pro were the options and suggestions made that got me to recovery quicker and better than any other physiotherapist.

Assessment

When our physiotherapists meet with you for the first time, they will conduct a comprehensive assessment to determine the most effective, integrated treatment to facilitate the quickest recovery. The initial assessment normally takes 45 minutes. During this time, our physiotherapist will ask a series of questions regarding your medical history to get a better understanding of the injury or condition.

Diagnosis

After a thorough physical examination, our physiotherapist will provide a diagnosis of the findings and recommend a customized rehabilitation program that is most suitable for your needs.

Treatment

The therapies may include a combination of the techniques below:

We listen to our client’s feedback and we also continuously monitor their progress to ensure we provide the most effective treatment to optimize their recovery time.

Result

The result of the treatment can include an improvement in:

  • Mobility
  • Muscle strength
  • Endurance and spinal stabilization
  • Better posture
  • Functional capacity

Pain and symptoms such as muscle spasm or inflammation are reduced or eliminated.

The rehabilitation program is complete when the client is able to function independently and has the knowledge to prevent a re-occurrence of the injury or has the tools to manage their condition.
